Wytyczne dla Autorów

1. Czasopismo Journal of Ecology and Health jest kwartalnikiem publikującym prace oryginalne oraz poglądowe z zakresu szeroko pojętej ekologii, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rozwoju zrównoważonego, oraz zdrowia, a także dziedzin bezpośrednio z nimi związanych.

2. Prace publikowane w Journal of Ecology and Health stają się własnością Wydawcy oraz Redakcji. Przedruk w całości lub we fragmentach oraz tłumaczenie na inny język mogą być dokonane wyłącznie po uzyskaniu pisemnej zgody Redakcji.

3. Praca opisująca doświadczenia na ludziach musi być zgodna z wymogami Deklaracji Helsińskiej. W przypadku badań z wykorzystaniem zwierząt należy przestrzegać zasad zawartych w Interdisciplinary Principles and Guidelines for the Use of Animals in Research, Testing and Education wydanych przez New York Academy and Sciences` Adhoc Committee on Animal Research. Informacje o przestrzeganiu tych zasad należy zawrzeć w tekście manuskryptu. Prace dotyczące badań ludzi lub zwierząt muszą być zaakceptowane przez odpowiednią lokalną Komisję Etyczną, co także należy zaznaczyć w tekście. Należy również zamieścić informację o świadomej zgodzie pacjentów na udział w badaniach.

4. Autorzy prac badawczych zobowiązani są do ujawnienia wszelkich zobowiązań finansowych pomiędzy Autorami a firmą, której produkt jest opisywany w artykule, bądź firmą konkurencyjną. Informacje te nie będą rozpowszechniane i nie wpłyną na decyzję o opublikowaniu artykułu.

5. Każdy nadesłany tekst musi zawierać oświadczenie Autora (Autorów), że nadesłana praca nie była wcześniej publikowana ani nie została złożona do redakcji innego periodyku. W oświadczeniu należy zawrzeć informację o bezpłatnym zrzeczeniu się praw autorskich do wydawania i rozpowszechniania materiałów na rzecz Wydawcy (zgodnie z art. 50 ustawy o prawach autorskich i prawach pokrewnych), jeśli praca zostanie zaakceptowana do druku. Tym samym Autor (Autorzy) zobowiązują się nie publikować nigdzie artykułu w jakimkolwiek języku bez pisemnej zgody Wydawcy.

6. Do materiałów wcześniej opublikowanych należy dołączyć pisemną zgodę Wydawcy oraz Autorów oryginalnej pracy na ponowne wydanie.

7. Redakcja nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za opinie wyrażane w artykułach i materiałach reklamowych.

8. Redakcja zastrzega sobie prawo wyboru prac do kolejnych numerów.

9. Redakcja zastrzega sobie możliwość skracania tekstów oraz wprowadzania koniecznych poprawek stylistycznych i mianownictwa bez porozumienia z Autorem (Autorami).

10. Publikowanie w Journal of Ecology and Heath jest bezpłatne, co oznacza, że Autorzy nie ponoszą żadnych kosztów związanych z publikacją artykułów, nie otrzymują także żadnego wynagrodzenia.

11. Ghostwriting i guest authorship są przejawem nierzetelności naukowej, a wszelkie wykryte przypadki będą demaskowane, włącznie z powiadomieniem odpowiednich podmiotów.

12. Artykuły należy przysyłać do Redakcji drogą elektroniczną na adres: journaleh@wsew.edu.pl lub tradycyjnie na adres:

13. Każda praca powinna zawierać:

    • tytuł pracy w języku polskim i angielskim – powinien być hasłowy, krótki, ujmujący lakonicznie treść artykułu;

    • nazwiska i imiona autorów wraz z ich afiliacjami (pełne nazwy oraz kompletne adresy instytucji);

    • adres do korespondencji (imię i nazwisko autora, nazwa jednostki, adres, numer telefonu i/lub faxu oraz adres e-mail) autora, do którego będzie wysyłana wszelka korespondencja;

    • streszczenie (polskie i angielskie);

    • słowa kluczowe (polskie i angielskie) – od 3 do 6 słów;

    • zgodę wszystkich Autorów na publikację tekstu

    • oświadczenie, że praca nie była wcześniej w całości lub części publikowana
      w innych czasopismach oraz nie została złożona do innej redakcji

    • informacja o przeniesieniu praw autorskich na Wydawcę

    • informacja o źródłach finansowania.

14. Prace powinny być przygotowane w języku polskim lub w językach kongresowych.

15. Struktura prac:

    • Prace oryginalne

Tekst – prace oryginalne należy podzielić na pięć części: Wstęp, Materiały
i Metody, Wyniki, Dyskusja, Wnioski.

Streszczenie – należy wyodrębnić cztery akapity: Wstęp, Materiały i Metody, Wyniki, Wnioski.

• Opisy przypadków

Tekst – zwięzły opis przypadku wraz z wynikami badań laboratoryjnych, rozpoznanie wstępne i diagnostykę różnicową, rozpoznanie ostateczne udokumentowane wynikiem badania histopatologicznego

Streszczenie – krótkie streszczenie pracy, bez zachowania podanego wyżej podziału

• Prace poglądowe

Tekst – proponowana struktura: Wstęp i Wnioski końcowe (Podsumowanie)

Streszczenie – krótkie streszczenie pracy, bez zachowania podanego wyżej podziału.

16. Objętość prac: preferowana długość tekstu wynosi ok. 10-12 stron maszynopisu.

17. Piśmiennictwo – musi zawierać wykaz wszystkich wymienionych w tekście źródeł bibliograficznych w kolejności ich występowania. Kolejne numery piśmiennictwa
    w tekście należy podawać w nawiasach kwadratowych.

    • Czasopisma – kolejny numer pozycji, nazwiska autorów i inicjały imion, tytuł pracy, tytuł czasopisma, rok, tom, numer strony początkowej i końcowej.

• Książki – kolejny numer pozycji, nazwiska autorów i inicjały imion, tytuł, wydawca, miejsce i rok wydania.

Przykład: [2] Buchowicz J.: Biotechnologia molekularna. Wydawnictwo Naukowe PWN, Warszawa 2009.

• Rozdział w książce – kolejny numer pozycji, nazwiska autorów i inicjały imion, tytuł rozdziału, nazwiska autorów (redaktorów) książki, inicjały imion, tytuł książki, wydawca, miejsce i rok wydania.

Przykład: [3] Ziółkowski M: Zarządzanie strategiczne w polskim samorządzie terytorialnym, W: Zalewski A. (red.). Nowe zarządzanie publiczne w polskim samorządzie terytorialnym, SGH, Warszawa 2005.

• Tekst ze strony internetowej – kolejny numer pozycji, nazwiska autorów
  i inicjały imion, tytuł, adres internetowy, data odczytania w nawiasach kwadratowych. Jeśli tekst nie posiada autora ani tytułu – adres internetowy
  i data odczytania w nawiasach kwadratowych

w: http//www.gazetawyborcza.pl/wydawnictwa_naukowe [pobrano 12.07.2008].

18. Tekst powinien być zapisany w formacie WORD z rozszerzeniem „.doc”. Zalecane jest stosowanie standardowych czcionek o rozmiarze 12 punktów.

19. Tabele – mogą być zamieszczone w tym samym pliku co tekst pracy.

20. Ryciny i fotografie – mogą być wykonane techniką kolorową lub czarno-białą. Powinny być umieszczone w oddzielnych plikach i zapisane w formacie: JPG….
    o możliwie największej rozdzielczości. Należy je ponumerować wg kolejności pojawiania się w tekście cyframi arabskimi (w tekście należy zaznaczyć odwołania do ilustracji). Opisy powinny być w języku polskim i angielskim.

21. Skróty – trzeba objaśniać przy pierwszym wystąpieniu terminu skracanego w tekście.

22. Wyniki badań laboratoryjnych, normy i odchylenia standardowe muszą być wyrażone w jednostkach przyjętych przez Międzynarodowy Układ Jednostek Miar SI.

23. Po wydrukowaniu artykułu, każdy autor otrzymuje bezpłatnie jeden egzemplarz autorski czasopisma.

24. Za treść artykułu odpowiada Autor.

Guidelines to Authors

1. The periodical Journal of Ecology and Health is a two-monthly which publishes research articles and reviews from the broadly understood area of ecology, with special focus on sustainable development and health as well as other closely related disciplines.

2. Manuscripts published in the Journal of Ecology and Health become the property of the Publisher and the Editor. Reprinting in full or in fragments as well as translation into another language requires a prior written consent issued by the Editor.

3. Manuscripts describing research on humans must meet the requirements of the Declaration of Helsinki. In the case of research with the use of animals the rules must be followed which are set up in the Interdisciplinary Principles and Guidelines for the Use of Animals in Research, Testing and Education issued by the New York Academy and Sciences` Adhoc Committee on Animal Research. Information on observing these rules must be included in the manuscript. Research addressing humans or animals must be subject to a prior approval by the local Ethics Committee which must be also indicated in the text of the manuscript. Information on the informed consent of the patients to participate in the research should be enclosed as well.

4. Authors of research works are obliged to disclose any financial relationship towards a company which product is described in the article or a competitive company. This information will not be published neither will influence the decision on the publication of the article.

5. Each manuscript submitted for publication must include a statement of the Author (Authors) that the text has not been published before or submitted for publication to Editor of another journal. The statement should also include information on the free of charge transfer of copyrights to the publication and dissemination of the materials on the Publisher (in line with Article 50 of the Act on Copyrights and Related Rights Act) if the manuscript is accepted for publishing. At the same time the Author (Authors) are obliged not to publish the article anywhere else in any language without a written consent of the Publisher.

6. A written consent of the Publisher and the Authors of the original article for reprinting must be attached to any materials published before.

7. The Editor does not take any responsibility for the opinions expressed in the articles or advertising materials.

8. The Editor reserves the right to select manuscripts for publication in subsequent issues.

9. The Editor reserves the right to shorten the texts and introduce relevant stylistic and nomenclature modifications into the text without contacting the Author (Authors).

10. Articles are published in the Journal of Ecology and Heath free of charge which means that the Authors do not incur any costs related to the publication of the articles neither do they receive any remuneration for it.

11. Ghostwriting and guest autorship are manifestations of scientific dishonesty and all the detected cases will be exposed, including informing the relevant entities.

13. Each manuscript should include:

    • Title in Polish and in English, the title should be short and express the content of the article;

    • First names and family names of the Authors together with affiliations (full names and complete addresses of the organizations);

    • Contact details of the Author to whom all correspondence will be sent (name and family names of the Author, name of the organisation, address, telephone and/or fax number and e-mail address);

    • Abstract (in Polish and in English);

    • Key words (in Polish and in English) – min 3 max 6 words;

    • Consent of all Authors for the publication of the manuscript;

    • A statement that the manuscript has been neither published before in other journals or submitted for publication to another Editor;

    • Information on the transfer of the copyright on the Publisher;

    • Information on the funding sources.

14. The manuscripts should be written in Polish or in one of the congress languages.

15. Manuscript structure:

    • Research articles

Text – the research article should be divided into the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions.

Abstract – should be structured of the following four paragraphs: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions.

Case studies

Text – a concise description of the case together with the results of the laboratory research, initial recognition and the differentiation diagnosis, final recognition proved by the documented result of a histopathological test.

Abstract – a short summary of the article without the need to make a division into paragraphs as indicated above.

• Reviews

Text – a proposed structure includes division into: Introduction and Final Conclusions (Summary).

Abstract – a short summary of the article without the need to make a division into paragraphs as indicated above.

16. Length of the Manuscript: preferred length of the text.

17. Literature – it must contain a specification of all literature sources mentioned in the text in order of their appearance. Subsequent numbers of the literature sources mentioned in the text should be provided in square brackets.

    • Journals – the following literature source number, family names and initials of the first names of the authors title of the article, title of the journal, year, volume, number of the first and last page of the article.

Example: [1] Brault D., Vever-Bizet C., Dellinger M.: Fundamental aspects in tumor photochemotherapy: interactions of porphyrins with membrane model systems and cells. Biochimie 1986; 68: 913-921.

• Books – the following literature source number, family names and initials of the first names of the authors title, publisher, place and year of publication.

• A chapter in a book – the following literature source number, family names and initials of the first names of the authors, title of the chapter, family names of the authors of the book (editors) , title of the book, publisher, place and date of publication.

• Text from an internet page – the following literature source number, family names and initials of the first names of the authors, web page address, date of downloading in square brackets. If the text has no author or title – web page address and the date of downloading in square brackets

18. The text should be written in WORD format with “doc” extension. It is recommended to use standard fonts, size 12 points.

19. Tables – may be included in the same file as the manuscript.

20. Pictures and photographs can be made be in colour or black and white. They should be attached as separate files and saved in JPG format of the highest possible resolution. They should be numbered with Arabic numerals according to their order of appearance in the text, relevant references to the pictures and figures should be made in the text The descriptions should be made in Polish and in English.

21. Acronyms – should be spelled out when they appear in the text for the first time.

22. Results of laboratory research, norms and standard deviations must be expressed in units of the International System of Units SI.

23. After publication of the article each Author receives one author’s copy of the journal free of charge.

24. The contents of the article are of sole responsibility of the Author (Authors)
